I don’t know about you guys but I can spend hours upon hours in Teavana! I love their teas and think it’s entertaining to smell all of the different teas they have to offer! Even when I go to Starbucks, my favorite drinks are Teavana’s Tea Infusions and Tea Lemonades!
My senior year of college begins in T-minus five days and I also start my student teaching semester in twelve days (which we all know will be super exhausting on ‘ya girl’s mind)! Most teachers I know have coffee or Advocare Spark to get them through the work week. Coincidentally, I just started obsessing over bubble teas and thus my love for tea began!
Help! I need caffeine but no coffee or supplements…
Even though I love the look of coffee and I enjoy the smell, I am not a big fan of coffee. When I started my freshman year of college, I would try to gulp down mochas quickly for the caffeine without even liking what I was drinking. Not my best moment.
I started researching a little through Teavana’s website and I found that they have quite a lot of caffeinated teas! My one request – the tea HAS to be iced. Can we tell that I am not really a hot drink kind of person? Anyways, that request definitely narrowed my choices down to only a handful. I finally got myself to my local Teavana and told the worker my situation and she sold me on these beauties –
I bought the –
The Perfectea Maker set came with the maker, a bag of Rock Sugar (which is a healthier more natural sugar to use), and the matching tin for only $30! My tea, thankfully, also was on sale for 30% off. All of the promotions really sold me on my purchase and I am already obsessed with it after a short time of using it!
From the picture above, you can see how easy it is to place the Perfectea onto any cup or mug of your choice and the tea will just pour out the bottom! Super easy to serve, super easy to make hot or cold!
How to Make the Perfect Ice Tea with the Perfectea Maker:
- Scoop – scoop the recommended serving of tea into the Perfectea
- Steep – heat up your water to the specified temperature, pour water into the Perfectea once reaching the perfect temperature, let it steep for the printed amount of time
- Serve – once the tea is steeped, empty the steeper into a pitcher or cup of your choice, place in the refrigerator, pour over ice when ready to drink
I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found this beautiful contraption! Now I can make about half a pitcher with only two scoops of tea. Two ounces does not sound like a lot but I am confident this tea will last me a long time for only $10!
