Songs That Feel Like Summer – Summer Playlist

In the middle of April, I said goodbye to all school work until August. YES, FREEDOM! However, the hard work does not stop. Now, I spend my days working, shopping, and staying busy with new adventures. Every summer is filled with new opportunities, so why not take advantage of it? I have a few trips planned and activities I’m excited to do this summer already, and I am prepared to add as many as I can until the summer ends.

Shop My Instagram: Summer Olive Pieces (Under $50!)

This is the first post to my new “Shop My Instagram” series! Hadn’t posted anything fashion related on this blog until now. About time right? In this series, I will talk about what was going on at the time I took each Instagram post and show you where to get my pieces or pieces that are similar to mine under $50!

This Shop My Instagram is focused on three summer olive pieces that are (thankfully) still on trend and coincidentally perfect for the summer season!

    Summer “To Read” List

Like everyone, my summer goal is to read, read, and read! The school semester normally takes all of my free time and reading is always the first activity I put to the side when I get busy (…sadly). At first, to be honest, I hated reading. After taking university classes, I learned how to slowly foster a better relationship with reading. Here are my goals:

    1. Read a fiction novel! I read too many non-fiction books and never gravitate towards fiction for some reason.
    2. Read about a topic or specific subject that interests you.
    3. Read books that have movie or TV show adaptations! I watch so much TV and movies that I probably can come up with a big list of these kinds of books.

From the help of a lot of blog posts, Pinterest, and Goodreads, here is my list!

Lazy Girl Hair Routine + Products I’m Obsessed With

If you know me personally, you know I hardly do anything to my hair! Confession: I didn’t even like brushing my hair until I was in college. Yeah, I know. It looked tamed from a distance but it was a rat’s nest underneath. It was for a good reason though! Brushing out my hair instantly turned my semi-curly locks into a frizzy afro. Whatever I could do (or not do) to tame my hair was my go-to hair routine, which coincidentally meant washing and air drying.

Right before my 20th birthday though, I walked into a salon with brunette hair and after a lot of bleach walked out with a beautiful balayage. Even though the hair was a nice change, all I could think of was, “great, now I have to style my hair.”

5 Bullet Journal Instagram Accounts for Minimalists

Guess who’s getting back to bullet journaling this summer? Me! I was using a bullet journal to plan my entire life last summer and once the semester started that August, I switched to Happy Planner. All of the assignments and projects built up so quickly and I didn’t have time to create spreads every month!! I love my Happy Planner dearly for its functionality and the stickers of course but since I have more time, I decided to switch to bullet journal for the summer again.

For a few weeks, I have been stalking Facebook and Instagram to find spreads that would work for me. I’ve come across so many great artists and bullet journalists that it would be a crime not to share them with you all! Here are my favorites:

    Texas Road Trip Travel Diary

I was lucky enough to travel through three remarkable cities in Texas – Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. My boyfriend and I had extravagant plans of a tropical vacation that did not fall through as well as we wanted it to, so we decided to make the best out of the time we took off for our vacation. After a day or so of planning, we came up with this! Our trip was packed with a lot of food and tourist activities, and we both needed this road trip after a stressful few months. Super grateful for the time we spent together! It was cool playing tourist in cities I could easily visit on the weekend.

    Off the List

    A Little Before-Lunch Snack

It feels like ages since I posted an “Off the List” update! Even though The List is filled with things that are attainable, there are still a few items that are a bit harder to cross off. I have a place to visit in Paris on the list, so it is definitely a mixture of things I can do in a weekend and things I need to prepare for.

5 Useful Websites for College Students

Finals week is here, sadly, and this week has already been packed with assignments and projects. UGH! To the people who are in college, you know the love-hate relationship of being in the school semester. You have pros like the freedom to make your own decisions (whether they be good decisions or not) and making tons of cool friends. In the same way, though, there are many cons like countless hours studying and no sleep when you have a tough week.
To the college freshman coming in this fall, I decided to gather 5 useful websites that could help your years in university run smoothly –
